Bed
The machine bed of SMEC machines provides perfect vibration absorption, which guarantees maximum machining accuracy and a high class of products. The machine uses a unique solution to the structure of the bed in the form of a full-fledged one-piece trapezoid, which allows the load to be evenly distributed.

Guide way
Bed has 6 raws sustaining method on Y axis and maximum span L/M Guide way structure in its class to minimize over hang.

Spindle
The spindle is supported by P4 class high precision angular ball bearings to minimize heat increment. Also belt head takes forced heat emission to minimize thermal expansion to provide high speed and ultra precision machining.

Tool shank
Dual contact system to contact both main spindle surface and taper surface dually by measuring elastic deformation of spindle surface that occurs when main spindle is clamped.

Ballscrew
Ballscrew support with anchored ends. Reduced changes to load on support bearing due to thermal displacement, while extending support bearing lifetime.

Controller
Fanuc CNC is used in SMEC machines. For some models it is possible to use Siemens CNC, Mitsubishi CNC.
